Garden Centre Awards

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

As many of you know I quit my job back in December and started a new one 2 weeks ago. I'm the Buyer's Assistant. We went to the all Ireland Garden Centre Awards oin Friday Night and just like the Oscars they ran through many categories. We ended up winning, for the first time in the history of the awards, best garden centre in Northern Ireland and the best in all of Ireland. Everyone is judged from food to toilets, health of plants and practically everything between.

Here is a photo of part of our gift section

Congratulations, Mark!

I especially like the conifer display. I'd probably hate the gift display because of being broke, LOL.

Thanks for the update, it sounds like you are enjoying a good start, and it also sounds like the nursery has a lot to live up to in future years to stay at the top of the industry in Ireland.

Congratulations Mark ! Your display looks great. (So does the boss's house). Ask for a raise. I think he can afford it.

Congratulations on your beautiful display and the award. That's a beautiful gift section, I can spot at least a dozen things I can't live without. (G)

Hmm... not much landscaping at the boss' house, especially for a garden center boss. (Large stretches of grass are not my idea of landscaping. Grass is just a place holder until something more interesting is planted.)

I like your conifer display.

the problem with the garden is too much water in the soil
