No Newsletter

Hi Dave, Haven't received the Newsletter for 3 days. Each day I have checked my preferences page and found that the checkbox for the Newsletter is blank. Each day I have re-checked it and clicked 'Submit.' I'm with AOL but have never had a problem before. Any advice? Thanks, Dave!

AOL is refusing to accept the mail for some reason. My logs show that when my server connects to AOL to give the newsletter to you, I get "Service unavailable".

I'm going to send you a test message right now and see if it arrives.

I checked and AOL allowed the mail to come just now. For the past several nights AOL has been refusing to allow me to send you the newsletter (a lot of AOLers can't receive it now).

I don't know why AOL is refusing to allow it. They have a problem on their mail server!

Oh my - Dave, I appreciate all your efforts on this, thank you. I have been on line with AOL with no results. AOL is so bad esp when you have an old hand-me-down computer with MAC 8.6 which only use AOL 5.0. Anyone know of any reliable inexpensive alternatives to AOL that a MAC 8.6 can install?

Dave are you getting any refusals from msn mail? I'm having the same problem.

Yours is being accepted by MSN without problems. If it is not reaching your inbox, then MSN is stopping it somewhere (probably with a spam filter).

You'll need to complain to them (and definitely do that!) that they are not giving you your mail. They need to fix their spam filters. The mail I send IS legitimate mail, so it's up to them to make sure they deliver it.

In my first encounter with AOL, they just gave me the routine things to check out. That done with no success, they heard back from me and finally reported my precious missing mail to a higher power and euerka "I got mail this morning"!

I will be sending an e-mail to MSN today. In the meantime I switched my e-mail here at Dave's to our other e-mail account at Comcast. Newsletter flew in with no problems.

Perhaps I spoke too soon? Got the Newsletter yesterday but not this morning. What's strange is that in my preferences the Newsletter box was still checked off??? I'll be contacting AOL again today.
