Hi, Binky - You should post questions addressed to Dave and other DG administrators in the Dave's Garden forum. That way they'll be sure to see it - that's the forum for website and newsletter-related issues. :)

thanks gardenwife for your help.

binky, I moved your message and here's an explanation and some tips for this problem:

The newsletter system at Dave's Garden automatically unsubscribes members from the mailings when the email address bounces. If you are no longer receiving the newsletter, it is likely that your email address has bounced back to us in recent times, and the system automatically unsubscribed you.

Getting back on the newsletter list is simple. Once you're logged in, go to your preferences page http://davesgarden.com/preferences.php and make sure that the check is placed in the newsletter checkbox (and make sure to click on Submit!)

You might also check with your ISP to determine what might have caused the bounce, so it doesn't happen again (ISPs shouldn't be bouncing legitimate mail for folks...)

Let us know if we can be of further help :)
Terry

Good Morning Terry, just want to let you know that i still don't get D.G. I have checked every thing i can think of. Can you help PLEASE!!!

binky, my guess is that you have set up a filter that's "trapping" the newsletter and preventing it from reaching your inbox. Try looking at your deleted folder and see if the newsletters are in there...if so, you may need to tweak your filter settings a bit :)

If it's not there, it's likely that MSN has set up a spam filter that is stopping it before it reaches you. If that's the case, you'll need to contact MSN and let them know their filters are halting legitimate mail from coming through.

I checked the logs and it is being sent and received by MSN. At this point, it's out of my hands and is the responsibility of the ISP to deliver it to your inbox.

The mail is legitimate, so the burden is on the ISP to make sure you get the mail. ISPs losing mail for folks is NOT funny - they need to get serious.
