Roselaine...I just saw this on the news. Came here first to get more news and hopefully update.

What I heard was it was in Souther Cal, toppled quite a few bldgs, some folks died.

Was hoping the Ca folks would check in.

Keeping an eye on this thread.

the earthquake is more than 300 miles away from Hesperia. i did not even notice there was an earthquake. my son in Menlo Park, Ca. said the building were he works had some good shakes. a little rattling on the nerve, otherwise he is fine.

i wonder if Kell felt it where she is? i know for sure, there are other DG members who lives much closer to San Simeon, Ca. hope they are fine.

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I didn't feel it at my house, but my dad, who lives 35 miles north felt it a little. I'm pretty sure many of our northern DG'ers felt it.
Thanks for your concern.

Hi
I live half way between San Fransisco & Paso Robles, so we felt it !!! I thought it never was going to stop.:-o !
There could have been a lot of people killed if it had been in a heavily populated area - two dead is more than enuf, tho.

Thinking of you DGers in California. You sure have had your fair share of weather related problems this year.Glad to hear from those of you that have checked in you are well.Lets hope all of the others are too. D

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

All's well here. We didn't feel this one this far north. So far it looks like Paso Robles in central CA got the brunt of it with 3 known dead and a lot of old buildings damaged or destroyed.

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

We are fine here. I'm far south of the quake.
