I know Spring is a long way away but it sure will be nice for the days to begin getting "longer" again!

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

We're holding at 9 hours 5 minutes of daylight, and today, all of them were sunny! It has been beautiful with the half a foot or so of snow that we have and bright blue sky. I think there are two more days at this level and then the minutes will start to creep up.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Sun's setting here right now. I'll be glad for longer days; since we're nightowls, an early sunset makes for a lot of time awake during the dark!

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Although, with the all the snow, it isn't be dark outside! :)

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

today the times were sunrise 8:48 am and sun set 3:59 pm making just over 7 hours daylight. I suppose an hour could be knowcked off allowing for twilight

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8a)

Did you go out drumming on the Eve, Mark? I have some friends who are Wiccans! Have a great Season! Elaine

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

This is the longest night of the year, but the earliest sunset is around December 5 and the latest sunrise is around January 5. So, it the amount of daylight in the evening is more important to you than when the sun rises, the days are already appearing to get longer.
