Help with worm tea

Cleveland, OH(Zone 5b)

If anyone is still vermicomposting, can you tell me what to do with the worm tea throughout the winter? I had no problem amending my soil during the growing season, but now......?

With a little lemon...

LOL, Kim!!!!

Freeze it in plastic milk jugs, labeled carefully of course!

Ooooh! Great idea. Thanx a bunch!

Don't thaw it out thinking that it is frozen for human consumption tea either.

That's the kind of mistake a person only makes once! Ick!

Seriously Celia, I would freeze it or just put it out on your plants now throughout the winter. Just put it alongside the plant and when spring thaw comes it will give that plant a real good boost of nutrients to get growing.

A bird would think it was wonderful though. Moth entree, gourmet bird seed chaser and worm tea to keep it all down.

Good idea about just letting it be frozen around the bases of the plants, too.

That would be easier than putting it in milk jugs, that is providing the snow isn't so deep that you can't tell where the plants are.

Just don't eat the brown snow.

Great advice! You're right. Why bother putting it in jugs when it could just freeze and then thaw directly onto the plants. Or...... Christmas presents!!! Yeah! For that hard to buy for person!!!! I have just the in-law to give it to!! LOL!!!!!!

Wrap it up real pretty, but don't waste the precious stuff on somebody who wouldn't appreciate it's beauty.

Hmmm gives me an idea for someone I know. Anyone got any worm tea for trade? :>P

LOLOL

I read the heading of this thread and my mind was doing loops trying to decide what it was going to be about.
I very nearly reached for my herbal remedy books to see if anything other than garlic was helpful against internal parasites!!! *G*
