Snow storm

Landisburg, PA(Zone 6a)

How did you all fair in the double pucnh snow storm??? We had 10-12 inches here in SC Pa......Thought we were to get alot more but lucked out....

Kylertown, PA(Zone 5b)

Final total for my area of western PA (North of DuBois) was about eight inches.

I think the weather folks dropped the ball on this one. We weren't originally supposed to get that much.

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Please send the snow storm here next time, Finland still remains snowless.. :(

It's still snowing here - I don't know how much we have, but I think it's more than enough.

Cuyahoga Falls, OH(Zone 5a)

Only 5" yesterday here in northern Ohio. We were supposed to get 3 more inches today, but it never came. It is cold, but sunny and a lot of the snow we got is melting.

Evert - I would love to send you some snow ! I don't like it !

Pembroke Pines, FL(Zone 10a)

Hey? Was I lucky? I was in Islip N.Y. yesterday and went out on a 6:45am flight. I will never complain about RED EYE flights again! They got 12inches and more to come. South Florida (80 degrees)never felt or looked so good. I missed the storm by hours. Not that I don't like snow but I lived in N.Y.(Long Island)for 40 yrs. and have had my share of snow. It's nice to watch but not to shovel...

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Awww, we just got a dusting, not enough to sneeze at!

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

We got nada even though the forecast was for 3-5". However, 2 days before, the forecast was for a scant 1/4" and we got 3-4". Glad to miss it this time!

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

not a flake here!

Pittsburgh, PA(Zone 6a)

We ended up with between 5-6" here. So so pretty.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

BBBBRRRRR don't send here snow storm ok Thank you!
Evert is so brave to sit snow on swing his behind. LOL

Lakeview, MI(Zone 5a)

wow! I can't believe Michigan didn't get snow and you did, this is great! :)

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

About 14 inches here. Sidewalks and driveway all cleared up ready for the upcoming week. Not as bad as Christmas and New Year's Day last year (20+ each time). I'm ready to move.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

WOW, 14" of snow! Yie.

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

I know.... I've been ambivalent - half excited, half intimidated about a lateral transfer that I'm applying for - this is the kind of thing that makes me want to move. I'll have to just keep adding things like this to this list.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Snowdra,you're ahead of me again!
I only have about 8 inches on the ground and some of it is left over lake effect!!!!

Spring Hill, FL(Zone 9a)

Spring Hill, FL remains snow free. BTW CC I'll be getting your Spanish Moss off to you sometime this week. Been BUSY!

Landisburg, PA(Zone 6a)

Any of you in the New England states in the 3 foot range....Looks like they really got dumped on.....

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

It's still coming down here. It's hard to tell what the accumulation is. I'd guess 15+ so far. The wind has been the worst. Some places the ground is bare and other places have 4 foot drifts. At least it's a light fluffy snow and easy to clean up. They've kept up well with the roads here and driving hasn't been too bad... at least on the main roads.

Payneville, KY(Zone 7a)

Just heard from my MIL in MA (Western MA). Said they had 2 feet of snow and the roads are rough. :)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

OHHH love the thought of spanish moss!!!!

Sue,I don't envy you guys, but our turn is coming.....the lake effect machine will be coming on strong soon.....

Honor, MI(Zone 5b)

No snow here in Northern Michigan. We went out and cut our Christmas tree on Saturday..our oldest son came home from college for a long week-end and brought his girlfriend so we could meet her (we LOVE her!!)..she has never cut a tree before--her family has always had a fake tree. It snowed very lightly while we were out at the tree farm, but quit before we found "the one". I know how hard snow storms can be, and I always pray for those who have to travel in it, but I WISH IT WOULD SNOW HERE!!! It won't feel like Christmas without at least a few inches....

ps...anyone live near Rochester, NY? What's it like up that way?

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

We got between 6-8 inches here, not too bad. Very very cold tonight, I cant wait till it warms up some so it will melt away. Oh the start of winter.

MD &, VA(Zone 7b)

Well here on the Bay we barely had 2-3" :) But thats enough for me. It's been so cold! Only 18* here right now, but supposed to be back up in the 50's this week.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Jody your asterisk looks like a snowflake, lol. I got 5 inches from the first front, but nothing but cold from the second one. I am pretty close to Darius but about 1,000 feet higher so I get a little more usually. We were just getting over some flooding from heavy rainfall. We got about 10 inches here and different parts of the county, down in the valleys, flooded. If you were up high and had a view of down to the valleys, the farmland looked like big lakes.

Landisburg, PA(Zone 6a)

Well I guess that is the end of snow storm one for this year. Wish it was the end of the snowstorms...I have to drive in it everyday so I don't look forward to bad roads......
