If you want to witness the true sense of Christmas then go and visit any small town where everyone will bend over backwards to help someone in need any time of year, no matter what. Or review the actions of New York City residents and the rest of the world both during and after 9/11. It was a demonstration of goodwill, sacrifice, faith and hope and a struggle for understanding.

It shoudn't take a disaster or a holiday to make us like each other and Christmas should last longer than a day. And no amount of presents you buy for friends or your children will make up for you not being there when they need you most.

Anne Frank wrote in her diary that she thought good would prevail over bad because there were more good people than bad. That was not just a thought, it is fact.

What's so awesome about Christmas is I think it happens a lot more often than we think.

eyes, thanks for the words. When you hear the song and the way they sing/say them it makes it 10 times even funnier. I have got to find that cd. I looked last year but never could find that particular song on a Bob River's cd. I'll look again this year for sure. But the last guy and his struggle with the lights just cracks me up.

purpleice, I agree with you; but at least once a year we are forced to stop and reconsider how we should be living the year around.

The thing about Bob Rivers' Twisted Christmas, is that when you hear the real song, you think of Bob's words !
