I need your help please
'Shoe... I meant to post but RR beat me to it: Your dachshund looks like my much loved Morgan I lost in January. Aren't they lovely (and spoiled!) pets?
I'm positive that it was the Gingerbreadman helping my husband stacking wood this evening. He kept muttering something about it was too cold up here but he had to work off all the Thanksgiving treats he had been fed on his travels today. Post card on its way from Verona, Ontario. D

Aliza Jane,
There was a Gingerbread Man here that asked me to tell you he had a good time playing with his friends in California. They liked the fuzzy flowers on the Mexican sage to play hide and seek among. He will send you a postcard ASAP. I was able to get a picture of his friends but he would not stand still for a picture.
Janice
Janice Just to let you know Aliza loved your photo Thank you Janie
He went for a swim but the seagulls wanted him to stay for lunch. He wasn't fooled. I'll mail his card Monday.
Frankay Thank you this is fun Janie
bopjg, I am putting one in the mail tomorrow from the Northwestern part of Indiana. Hope it's not to late.
I am sending mine out tomorrow too. I was late finding a postcard and had even thought of making one, but wasn't sure. But I do have it right here with address on it waiting on the mail to run.
Mine went out yesterday. I can't wait to hear all the excitement he created in Aliza's class.
Donna
I'll have my first grade granddaughter send one out tonight from New York State - albeit the far western end and nowhere near the city! The Gingerbread Man has been a favorite story here for YEARS!

Thannks so much for sharing the photos. I loved them!!! Our Canadian post is not fast at the best of times so hope Aliza Jane and her class get my card before the holidays. Looking forward to more photos.D
If a post card can make a kid happy: How many lonely bums like me inhabit this site? I want to see children do well in school and enjoy it. I don't have any human children but I hope they can do thier species proud. I choose not to reproduce for the good of humankind. BS it's so I can sit back and watch and say "I had nothing to do with that". Obviously on the other hand you can say "Yeah, that's my kid up there making the world better". While I wonder if I could have produced anybody nearly as good.
Whoooo, Frankay... you are in a reflecrtive mood tonight, aren't you?
I raised 3 that were half-brothers much younger than me, and decided NOT to have my own.
I STILL vaccilate as to whether I made the right decision.
I'd be proud to have a child in a school with such a creative teacher.

appologies to Dave and Darius. This is a happy site. Maybe Christmas blahs kicking in. I really try not to be a curmudgeon. Heard a story on PBS tonight about a guy who put up an ad "I would like to have Christmas dinner with any family who would have me, I'll supply the turkey." This was 20 years ago. A Pastor responded immediately and the guy went there for Christmas til he died last year. The pastor told a story of his twin nephews sneaking the guy down cellar to play with the train set. How much would you give to relive certain moments? Not to change, just again. STOP THAT, THE WHOLE WORLD STINKS, RIGHT?
This is a fun project...and I THINK I see my card already up on the board...and marking Arizona...YEAH! Jo
Those are great photos - I see my card too ! What fun this was !
Oh my! Maybe my card from NC got censored?
(Honestly, I tried my best to explain to the kids that Giant Chickens DON'T eat Gingerbread Men!) :>(
Patience Shoe! My card is not up there yet either. The dolphins promised not to eat him either :-)
HA! That po po Gingerbread Man is gonna be so nervous!!
Guess who checked into the Adirondack Inn on Saturday night?
Yep, it was the Gingerbread Man! He had breakfast with the German Bobsled and Skeleton teams.
We got a foot of new snow here in Lake Placid, so he went skiing on Whiteface Mt. When he got to the bottom, he kept right on going, and who knows where he will turn up next!
He left a postcard for Aliza at the front desk that will go out in tomorrow's mail.
zone3_newbie Thank You NY.we will be looking for it. LOL Janie
He said "ta heck with the cold" and hes back down here in warm and sunny Gulfport, Mississippi.
i wonder where he will go after he brushes off the sand.
Ill get the postcard in the mail tomorrow
jen
LOL, Jen, wish I could have went with him! Spent hours shoveling that "white stuff" outta the way today. Suppose I'm gonna be sore tomorrow...haven't used those "shoveling muscles" since April!
