Another girl!!

Bolton, Greater Manc, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I have become an aunt for the 9th time this morning!! my husbands youngest brother and wife had a baby girl named holly at 1.30am, weighing in at 8lbs. Providing a sister for sister Heather (we are a horticultural family! ;)
That brings the total of girls to 6 against 3 boys. Girls rule in our family!! LOL!!

Does one sex predominate in your family too?

How lovely - congratulations, Auntie Psilo! I'm an only child, so who knows what the trend might have been.

Congratulations. In our family we went 58 years without a girl in our family. Our first granddaughter born on May 29th, 1994 broke the jinks. Now we have 4 grand kids. 4 boys and two girls. The last girl born on my birthday in June of this year.

I love my daughters. Wish I had a dozen more girls... :-)

Oh goodness it looks like girls rule here too!! LOL I always wanted 5 boys but got 2 boys and a girl. Dont get me wrong I love my daughter but she is a terrible snob and is always critising my dirty looks :)) wish I had more boys - they dont care as long as they are fed and their clothes are washed!!

thanks all for the congrats!! :))will post a photo when i get one.

Congratulatons, Psilo!

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

Congratulations, Psilo. We have a good mix in our family. I can't call my daughters snobs. The youngest one loves to 'get down and get dirty' in the yarden. Even the oldest one is beginning to get into the yardening craze.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I would love to have more girl but too bad had 3 boys and only one girl... just like that I had 3 brother and only me a girl.

PSILO > Congrat's! =D
