flagging information for easy follow up

Hello, I'm new to DG and love the site. I don't know if this has been posted previously, but I was thinking that if the system had the capability of "flagging" items with a date for follow up, that would make being organized so much easier. For example, if I wanted to check with someone on something in Februrary, I can mark it now and be given a reminder at that time. I do know about the "thread Watch".

Are you talking about flagging threads, or entries in the journal?

I was thinking of flagging a thread along with a place for a comment, such as "contact XYZ". If the journal could be flagged, I suppose you could transfer info there and flag it.
