I had mentioned here that Glee had to have lung cancer surgery. Before the surgery a LOT of tests showed that it did not appear to have metastisized anywhere even though it was stuck to a rib. Well they removed 1/3 of her upper right lung with that ortho-scopic surgery (somebody please tell me how that is spelled). I can't belive they could cut that thing loose that pull it out through a 1-1/2 inch incision. She spent 1 night in intensive care because her blood pressure and heart rate dropped precipitously but she is in a floor room now. I talked to her last night and she sounded great! I'm sure she will have some chemo but not sure how much or for how long. Right now things look great. I must say that because we had never been close until 2 years ago, that I was (selfishly) rooting for her because of ME; I just didn't want to lose her NOW, of all times. I want another 10 or 20 years of her.....

I'll keep her in my prayers, too. It sounds like she's getting good care and I'm praying that with the right treatment, you will indeed have your sister around for many years to come!
