Tornado Watch

I think this year has had the craziest weather I have ever seen and it is still going on. It is the middle of November here in central Ohio and the temperature is 63F! We are under a high wind watch, a thunderstorm watch, and a tornado watch.

Tomorrow the high will be in the 30's with snow flurries. Is it any wonder I feel a cold coming on? LOL

Yup,we're in for a bumpy ride!

I have to drive tomorrow from Syracuse to Erie,Pa and back....I start at 5am and I think I'm gunna skip my lunch and get back here....and I'd better not have an empty trailer,not with those winds they are talking about.....

Crazy weather, yes! I have stuff just sending out green shoots with wild abandon in the yard still. The nicotiana along the front of our house is sheltered and it is just as green and lush as ever!

We had a little spitting of rain earlier, but the radar shows some more rain and storms moving in. We're about where the B in Columbus sits on this radar:

Woah, the winds just started picking up, big-time! I am going to unplug the computers, y'all. I have my new Stephen King book in hand and am heading for storyland until this all blows through. :)

We are getting some of the same storms here-tornado watches and snow in the prediction too. This is some crazy weather we are having. Winds at a steady 30mph and then with speeds up to 60mph The temps were at about 54 today and are suppose to drop soon and fast.

If its going to be cold-GO ahead and snow!!! :P

We have had some unbelievable rain today. The wind is kicking up pretty rough now and we are told 28 degrees by morning. DH cleaned out the wood furnace this afternoon, replaced the stove pipes and it is going now. The sun is suppose to be out full force tomorrow.

Of course, it is hunting season here in KY. Gun season. They extended it to 3 weeks from 10 days this year as we are thick with deer. My DS got an 8 pt buck yesterday in the back of our property. I suspect they are moving because of the impending cool weather.

Everyone be safe and warm. We still have farmers' market this weekend....Go figure!

This fall's weather has been so crazy we have clematis in bloom right now!! One is right out in the open and the other one is sort of protected but not by much.

It's still blowing up a storm here - just howling, and the big windchime outside's clanging away! Howie got home from work and wanted online, though, so here I am again. I was happy reading my book. :) It's supposed to be down to 35 and tomorrow's high's forecast at 39 with scattered snow showers. Brrrr!

The wind blew 2 good-sized slate pieces off the outside porch wall, and they broke in half. I bought these in the past 2 years at a craft show. You know the ones with paintings on them. They WERE really nice. Hate to put that much money out again though.

The winds last night never let up-you could hear them all night long! Today parts of the state are under BLIZZARD warnings,6inches of blowing snow!!!

I know its snowing about 10 miles north of me and snow on the ground about 20 miles N. shaking my head! The wind is steady at about 25mph. and gust to 44mph.

Winter already-schools closed or delays, high of 37-but better outlook for tomorrow!!! :)

If I send you a SASE, will you send me some rain? ;-)

Wooster Ohio had a tornado last night. Buildings and trees were damaged but no injuries so that is good.

Blizzard warnings already? Bbbbrrrrr. Stay warm, notmartha!

Oooh, I heard the tornado warning was up around Akron somewhere - far northeast Ohio. So, who else was kept awake - or constantly awakened - by that wind. It was unreal!

Sorry about those slates, Golddog. I hate it when stuff like that happens! My MIL's resin Adirondack chair is almost out to the street.

My mom was from akron, I know we have members in that area! we had a tornado here in mich last night too,thousands across the state without power-some till sunday.

Wow - We didn't lost power, thank goodness. The house would have been pretty darned cold in the house.

Wind is STILL kickin it up!! It broke my new trellis on the side of the front porch. Just at the bottom. I think DH will be able to fix it up. Of course it's garbage day! Cans flying everywhere. And since I'm one of the few on our street that's home during the day, I've been chasing my neighbor's cans all around today. LOL!!

Bbbbbbr, just went out and retrieved the chair from the end of the driveway!
