Hi... I love Dave's Garden. Everytime I open my daily newsletter, there is a brug pic and although they are gorgeous I would rather have a different forum featured. Is there a way to do that?

Welcome sharyv! The "picture of the day" is based on the most-viewed (and hence, popular) image from the previous 24 hours. Our brug forum is quite active, and it frequently generates the most-viewed image.

So....to get another image to reach this goal, more people have to view it :)

I have a question about the daily newsletter. I've been subscribed to it for months, then I stopped getting it, so I re-subscribed and was getting it for awhile, then it stopped again. Is there something going on with the newsletter itself, or is this just a case of my ISP blocking the newsletter (as they've done with others)?

The newsletter system at Dave's Garden automatically unsubscribes members from the mailings when the email address bounces.

If you are no longer receiving the newsletter, it is likely that your email address has bounced back to us in recent times, and the system automatically unsubscribed you.

Getting back on the newsletter list is simple. Just go to your preferences page and make sure that the check is placed in the newsletter checkbox (and make sure to click on Submit!).

You might also check with your ISP to determine what might have caused the bounce, so it doesn't happen again (ISPs shouldn't be bouncing legitimate mail for folks).

Thanks Dave!

I've re-subscribed and have been getting the newsletter again. My ISP has cancelled other newsletters on me before, so that's likely what happened here. It's very frustrating, especially when they still let the "junk" through!
