Subscribers & paid member's???

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Can you tell me the difference...that may sound like a silly question but honestly...I dont know. Just a question, doesnt make a difference but wanted to know.

Thanks Dave

Same thing. Subscriber == Paid Member.

Annabellegabby, are you referring to the mention of members versus paid subscribers? Many people sign on as members and make use of the PDB, Journals and Garden Watchdog, they do not pay for a membership and some features are not available to them. They can read only the first post in a forum and not any of the responses. Some forms like the Parking lot are not visible to them and some search features are limited. Also they see photos in the forums as thumbnails but cannot enlarge them. A Paid member/subscriber has full use of all the features.

Thanks Dave, but Zany that's what I was talking about lol...I just sometimes see just the person's nicname and zone but no state under it and wondered if that meant the difference, but I understand. At first, before becoming a member (paid) I could email certain people or talk but couldnt get past a certain point either without joining.

Thanks for the help...just wondered thats all :-)

Many Blessings

You are welcome. It can be a bit confusing at times but this sit has become very complex in spite of the fact it is so easy to navigate and use.

The information under a name is put in (or not) by the individual on their home page preferences. Some subscribers fill in the information and others do not. If you want to see if someone is a paid member/subscriber you can check the member pages or just click on their name and go to their home page directly. Paid members have a Brown circle that tells you they are paid members.

UN-paid members can reply to the PDB forum and the Watchdog.
But I am not certain if they can reply to all posts in the PDB or if it is only on threads about their own entries.
