Emailing from DG. Why is the subject box yellow?

Even better, how long has it been that way and I didn't notice?? LOL Good grief! Yellow here too?! Dave, are you playing?? One was not yellow a minute ago! LOL

I just clicked on your name Michele, just to see what you were talking about and the subject box was still plain old dull white. LOL!!

You stop that! LOL I tried a bunch and only hit one white. Then when I went to send this, I previewed and my subject box was yellow. So, is my computer messed up or is Dave playing with something new?

Checked again, Brugie's is yellow and so is tiG's!! It is only the subject boxes.

I thought it was the color of your background on your monitor. ??????? but what do I know.

Might be, Badseed. I've heard that when folks get viruses, their computers sometimes do odd things like you are describing.

I've certainly not been changing anything! Do you have a virus scanner? Might want to run one.

We have Avast running constantly and it updates often. Very strange.

None of the virus checkers will catch all of them, there are so many different kinds. I have McAfee and Zone Alarm, still a couple of virusus have slipped in! My Dh uses norton and Zone alarm. Every now and then we run Trend Micro's PC Penicillin, it's a free scan and we have caught some and deleted them that way.

Or maybe you are getting cataracts! Since my surgery, I notice that when I close the eye that still needs surgery everything is white and clear - through the "old eye" everything is Yellow!

YEAH I NOTICE THAT MINE HAS YELLOW BOX AND LAST WEEK HAD LIGHT BLUE BUT NOW THIS WEEK YELLOW REALLY STRANGE HUH?

Just now just turn blue box where did it coming from??? LOL
Doesn't bother me at all think it is cool just wondering?.

Are you using the Google Toolbar? That will highlight fields which it can fill in with your information, if you've provided it.

Ummmm, as a matter of fact, that is on my desktop! I don't use it for anything. I think hubby or the kids did that for me. LOL Would that cause only my subject boxes to be yellow?

well, what da ya know. I have the google bar, but hadn't turned on the auto-fill feature. Just for kicks, I turned it on and now my DG subject boxes are yellow. LOL! It looks kinda cool ....

Hey, when you turn yours on, is it a color or anything? Mine is a gray shadow, and clicking on it does nothing. Maybe it is not on??

I just went into options, where it was checked, and unchecked it. Now my boxes are not yellow! Kudos to GW!! Thanks Sundry, cheaper than a therapist. LOL

I'm not sure why the subject box would show up as an auto-fill field; usually it marks standard fields like name, address, city, state, etc. Strange goings on there. :)

I wondered, too. So I let it autofill, and it put my email addy there. too weird.
