Saw this on TV (NPR) several years ago and now I cannot remember the particulars:
Who was the US capitalist who went to Japan after World WarII and help reorganize the country economically?
Been trying to find out and it is driving me batty...I belive there is a yearly economic prize named after him...
Thank-you if you can provide the answer or a clue to where to look.
History question
His name was Deming. He stressed statistical quality control. Before his time "Made in Japan" was equated with shoddiness.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.....:D
