I'm working on a party favor .... and got this great suggestion from Mom.. now I'm hoping somebody can help me so I can use my printer rather than hand-write stuff out.

I would like to make a template in Word or another Microsof-type program that looks like four 3x5 cards.... In them, I would like to type out some recipes...

can anybody help me with this template idea?

do you have ms publisher? That feature is built in.

Yes I have Publisher... where is it? I looked and didnt' see it... :)

go to File > page setup

choose 'special size' the select 'index card' from the drop down.

When you go to print, go to file> print and click on the page options button. select 'print multiple copies per sheet' and click on custom options to set your margins so that 4 will fit on a page.

note, I'm using Publisher 98, it may be slightly different in 2000. Hope this helps!
