Happy Halloween but beware the chestnuts!

Bolton, Greater Manc, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I hope everyone here has a Happy Halloween. I am taking my children to a fancy dress party and they are so excited.
Last night we had some chestnuts and I bit on something hard and cracked open my tooth at the back :( My dilemma now is what do I do as my jaw is still locked so the dentist cant get near it !! aarrgghhhhh

so have a good time but beware the chestnuts and the treacle toffee!! :))

Ouch, I know how painful that locked-up jaw is! Hope that it will relax and release soon, so that the dentist can repair the chestnut damage. I wish you and your children a very happy Halloween.

Sheesh! I was struggling with a toffee apple! My teeth just couldn't get into it. Eventually i cheated and got a knife and made a small cut in it - after that my teeth did just fine!

What about the wee trinkets you used to get in the cakes from the bakery.

My cousin, (a she), broke a tooth on one of those wee plastic trinkets, (a "lucky" horseshoe), which were in their cakes, but she didn't care about the tooth, because she got a "lucky" horseshoe .... that made her day.

I was six and she was five..... great fun
