Gwist, What a great smile you have! You look like one happy woman in the middle of your brugs.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I am the picture taker in the family and therefore, there are not many of me except for the holiday pictures. I found one on my computer that was taken about 1 1/2 year ago while visiting a wildlife reserve that is run by contributions only. This was quite an event for me and let me tell you those little raschals don't like sitting still for very long unless you are feeding them a bottle and they have very sharp nails and Not much has changed except a little more grey hair and it is a little longer and a few more of those I will be getting it cut short again this week because all I have done for sometime now is pin it up to keep it off of my neck.

What a cute baby you are holding. I wouldn't mind having one if it would stay small forever.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

nat, you were the best looking one at the RU, and i bet you look great in your garden. love all the pictures. Gwist, would love to have you visit here soon!

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

Great photos everybody!
I have the same problem as BrugNanny, but worse. There is not one digital photo of me, and my scanner is broke. I might get somebody to take one this weekend. Or if somebody have one from the RU, maybe that person could let me borrow it.

It's so nice to see everybody! I'll try to dig up a picture of me, but until then, you can tweak Poppysue's picture & get pretty close. Add glasses, keep the bangs but make the rest of the hair about a foot longer with a little bit of gray mixed in, that's me!

Donna,
I would have reconized you right off the bat. LOL

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

OK Donna, that does it! You'll have a visitor in the spring, I've been dying to go there!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Come on down Vi. We would love to have you. We can also go out to the Islands or take a cruise up the river. I really love living here. Anything to do with nature is right out my back door or less than a 2 hour drive east or west.

This is a fun thread!

Oh Morph, you have a very kind and friendly face!

Bellingrath is a beautiful place, we have been there both in the spring and fall. Plan to spend several hours if you go.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

We pass the signs to Bellingrath gardens all the time when going to Florida, and I have often thought about stopping in there, I guess I should if y'all say it is so nice.

David, this was such a good idea and there more pictures posted than I would have thought. It is wonderful that so many are posting. I am going to save all the pictures and put each person's name on it and then make a collage of as many as I can put on a sheet(s) and then print on photo paper and hang on the wall in my computer room.

Gloria, you need to post a picture or let me know and I will post one for you. Remember the slide picture or the picture on the swing with the flower . . LOL

Come on everyone . . get your picture in this thread!!!

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Edit.....They came from Germany for the festivities in Milwaukee and even had thier own HD's shipped over here. They stayed 3 weeks.

Woodspirit1:

When Andrew hit, I lived in Miami but I was at Ft. Lee, VA for a week. The place I lived in then only suffered a bit of water damage. However, my current house was hit hard and the people who owned it had to do a lot of repair work. The roof blew off, the windows blew out, and the water poured in.

Although all of the homes on my street have been repaired, there are still homes in Homestead and other areas of South Dade that were never repaired. There are some large tracts of land where communities once stood that are now overgrown with weeds and brush.

I live in walking distance of the former Homestead Air Force Base (now a reserve base)and had just been on the base maybe two or three weeks before Andrew. The base was totally devasted and I did not recognize it after Andrew.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Hey, Morph, is your bark worse than your bite? LOL

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Kell, I have to assume that the picture above is your before picture, now that you have had your extreme makeover, and the pic in the bikini where you had just run in from the beach is the after picture, right? :-)

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Scooterbug I always appreciate a few good looking men- members or not, LOL.....Sounds like you had a ball.

I'm so happy everyone is posting pictures. I love putting names to faces.

Auburn, WA(Zone 8b)

How fun this thread is. Thank you, David, for thinking of it. I don't have any recent photos, either. Here is an older one, though, of my brother & I while I search for something more recent.

That is a sweet and beautiful picture. The two of you looked very happy. :-)

Auburn, WA(Zone 8b)

Thanks, delecie. I assume my Dad took the picture. He must have been having a pretty funny moment to get that reaction out of us. That brother is still my favorite sibling.

Auburn, WA(Zone 8b)

OK. This one is only about 4 years old. The tall ones are my sons and the girl is our cousin Inneke from Antwerp. (Grandpa came home from WW1 with a souvenir - Grandma!)

Thanks, Azalea :) Great thread, Catsmeow!

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

Thanks everyone for posting. Like I said at the top ,I thought about doing this more than a month ago. It's just that when I sit down here to do something the mind always goes blank.

I really didn't expect this many to post here. I know alot of us including myself do not like to take pictures. But it's good to see some faces to go along with these names.

Delecie,I have daylily friends down around Winterhaven. I have never visited them but they do come here quite often. I also lived in Jacksonville when I was 5. That's been 31 yrs ago and that's the last time I was in Florida.

For all of you posting thanks, you're welcome. When the thought crossed my mind of doing this thread,I thought everyone might enjoy seeing what the other looks like. I don't know how many of us actually know some of the others in person but it would be nice if we could all get together and meet someday.
Can you imagine how many plants we'd all be bringing and taking back home? We need to have a central roundup one day and everybody meet in the middle.

Frannie, That would be your place. GET READY!!!

Well it's been nice meeting everyone. Hope you all feel the same.
