My DD,Erika is being induced today. She checked into the hospital at 7:30 this morning. "We're" having another girl...Lauren Abigail. I wish I could be there with her or at least closer.

Please keep happy thoughts for Erika. When Annelise was born 3 years ago she had a very hard time of it..hemmoraged after the birth. Needless to say,I'll be on pins and needles until the call comes that Mom and baby are fine.

I live about 30 mi. north of Panama City,Fl....she's in Alpharetta,Ga. Not sure how many hours that makes,but definately not a day trip up and back. Besides riding in heavy traffic scares the tar out of me..never mind driving in it. LOL Bring on the blinders!!

Going crazy here!! When I talked to Erika this morning (about 10-10:30 her time)I promised not to engage my dialing finger until after Lauren's birth. Haven't heard a word..being patient is not one of my better traits.

Erika just called!!! :-))))))))) Lauren was born around 3:20 eastern time..7lbs even..19inches sometihng long..(Mom is tired LOL) brown hair,but not as much as her big sister. Labor and delivery went just fine this time. I am sooo relieved!! YEA!!!!!

Thanks ya'll. Talked to Erika early this morning and again this afternoon. She and Lauren are doing great. Daddy got sick last night so he is banned from visiting today. Annelise got to visit....she thinks her baby sister is just beautiful!! Erika said she had tears in her eyes watching how sweet and loving Annelise was to Lauren. As soon as someone e-mails a pic to me I'll post it. Doing the happy dance here that all is well.
