I'm in the news (and so is DG, of course!)

Whodathunkit????

I have no idea how long this link will last, but here's the online version of what appeared in the Nashville Tennessean's home/living section today: http://www.nativeseeds.org/v1/content.php?catID=1014 (It's the third/last entry in this writer's column today.)

Here's the text, as I suspect this is a fairly dynamic space and will soon be removed to make room for more current information:

"Gardening on the Web

Terry Lea of Murfreesboro sent a note about a network of gardening Web sites that provides a wealth of information for gardeners. Dave's Garden (www.davesgarden.com) has discussion forums available to members who subscribe, and several free features for those who don't want to subscribe, such as a personal gardening journal, gardening terminology, and more. The Plants Database (www.plants database.com) has thousands of entries and photos of plants giving a plant's common and botanical name. It's free to anyone with Internet access. The Garden Watchdog (www.gardenwatch dog.com) is also free. It lists mail-order sources of plants, seeds, bulbs, tools and supplies."

I had NO idea she would include my name, or that she would even actually write about the information I sent to her - what I sent to her was more just an "FYI" along with a question I had about another column that appeared a few weeks ago. And uhhh, Dave - I promise I sent her the correct URLs (no www :o) I sure hope it pulls in some new members!

New members? I haven't even sent seeds/roots to all the 71,000 we already have!

Great! Glad to hear of more publicity. It may also spark more interest (and another article!) along the way.

Way to go, Terry! You're famous!

Such unforseen things always makes one happier than when we know beforehand. I feel good to read about that Terry.
