Report for May, 2001

Whew, what a month! Each month that passes, I'm always pleased to see us on a rapid upward growth curve. Some months are bigger than other months, and May was one of those. We experienced larger than normal growth in all areas,

We had a large explosion of growth during the second part of the month, and had a influx of new members discovering us for the first time. It's hard to keep DG a secret, as the masses of online gardeners out there continue to spread the good word about the best gardening site on the planet! Woe to the competitors of the DG Juggernaut!! :-)

Two major occurences also happened in May: We lauched our new site, Dave's Farm (http://davesfarm.com/ ), and we signed up our 2,000th member! These are two milestones that were a long time coming!

I think the numbers speak for themselves, so let's just dive right in:

Membership growth:

We have a total of 2,054 members
457 signed up in May.
This is up from 384 last month.

Way to go, ya'll! The numbers DO speak for themselves, but it's kinda hard to hear them over all of us cheering, clapping, and whistling!!!!

Hard work, common goals and the right heart attitude goes far. Trish and Dave are terrific people with great hearts, which I have seen from the short time I have been on DG, and from my few times talking to them one on one.
The curve will only continue to go UP and the blessings will keep *growing*. :-)

*gosh*...What, the user who logs the most hours here per week or something? That would be enlightening. I don't want to know if I'm in the top 10 - I suspect I may be! LOL
