Don't forget to set your clocks back tonight!
Fall Back....
Waaaaahhh......I've never liked folks messing with Time like this. :>(
'Bout the time I get used to one way, they change it on me, then I gotta start all over again, getting used to it again.
I once went right many weeks w/out accepting the time change. It did me no good at all tho. (If I wasn't showing up late I was showing up too early for appts.)
I hear tell some states don't acknowledge it. Wonder where they are? Am I living in the wrong state? (other that wrong state of mind?) :>)
Feels so good to wake up to sunshine instead of dark, (I rise at 6am).
When i was a youngster, I would visit my cousins for a week or so. Their neighbor across the road hated daylight time.
For the first 2 or 3 years he never changed his clocks.
Then finally he decided he could go halfway, yes, ½ hour different than everyone else.
Always took him many weeks to get all his times figured out so he would be on time to church, etc.
He also milked cows & had to be done at a certain time to send his cans on the milk truck. He missed many times!
Bernie
As we all know by now, different strokes for different folks! I never am on time anyway no matter what I do to my clocks.
That poor man from your childhood was living in a time warp, Bernie.
Here's a link with some interesting info on the subject, and answers the question about the states that don't follow it.

I was born and raised in IN and when I moved to OH, my friends would always say we (Buckeyes) were on "fast time" LOL....I read your article heather, and I see IN still doesn't participate.
My aunt, who was in her 90's, refused to change her clocks. She said she would just stay on "God's Time".
My body clock adjusts instantly going to Standard Time, but going back to Daylight Savings Time "kills" me. I would like to be able to just get up and go to bed whenever I felt like it, but working here at the ol' rocket factory, we have to keep certain hours.
Kelli I am affected the same way. October can't get here soon enough for me.
I work with a lot of rocket scientist I wonder ir they are the same type as at your rocket factory?
What do the cows think of "Today we milk an hour later". I know my dogs hate the idea of late supper.
My dogs hate it so much that we no longer change the "real" time they eat when the time changes take place. We just adjust the time according to what it would be to their stomachs and they really eat at the same time all year long. We haven't tried to sit down and discuss it with them as we don't think the would get the idea. LOL
