When time change backward?

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Every year on October and April change time so anyone know when change time this month?

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Oct 26th.

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

Do we make up for the hour we lost in April I hope.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Ok thank you so much Shoe really hate to change oh well that life, I like forward better why because of plenty of time during late day time during afternoon that's why I like better.

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

I'm anxious... I get extremely worn out leaving home every day in the dark. At least this way, it's light while I drive to and from work a little longer. I'm inside all day anyways, and usually don't have much motivation to work outside once cold weather hits. So the extra hour's sleep and the lighter drive to work will be a good thing. :)

Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

The only way I can remember which way is:

Fall Back and Spring Ahead! lol

Crazy but it works for me. )

Spring is 1st Sunday in April!

Fall is last Sunday in October!

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

26.10. in all EU countries as well.

I recently bought an atomic clock from Sam's Club. It has a remote wireless sensor outside which receives a signal from the atomic clock in Colorado. It also shows the date, inside and outside weather, and phases of the moon. It will automatically adjust for time changes. That way I will get to church on time.

gettin' married in the mornin', Bird?

Western, PA(Zone 6a)

Ah to sleep in next Sunday morning. I am just recovering from the lose of sleep from last spring's spring ahead. I'll take falling back anytime, if it means sleeping in.

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Oct 26 what a good day to sleep an extra hour. If it is spring foreward fall back then on that day the first birthday present I get is an extra hours sleep. Ernie.

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

If today is the 19th, that means we get an extra hour's sleep next Sunday morning! I could use one today.

Pardancanda, you are so funny!

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Bird if you need an extra hours sleep today just take it.

I start with a cup of coco and turn the tv on and that is all there is to it.

About changing the clock, I think we should have a vote to do or not to do. I also think those who sleep past four A.M. should not get a vote they should fiddle with their own clock and leave mine alone. Ernie

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

Ernie - TV first thing in the morning? For me that would be a horrible way to begin my day. I prefer to sit in my recliner with Mitski on my lap and sipping a cup of hot coffee, while I muse about life and continue my morning's sleep.

I am not bothered by clock changes, because, as my wife tells me, I do not have much of a sense of time. I rationalize about how much I can cram into a minute which seldom works out.

When I was working I bought a larger clock for my office hoping that it would give me more time. I was a pretty clock though.

I, too, hate rising in the dark. I think they have got the time changes thing in the spring and fall just right.

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Bird I think you took me wrong My reference to the TV is it bores me to sleep and I use it as a means to nap during the day.

I also like a cup in the morning and watch the sun rise over the mountian and day dream or problem solve in silence.

Sometimes I go to my shop and open the door in nice weather and tinker then its off to the gh for the extra hour nap there is a table with chairs and I read sometimes.

If I didn't still work the clock change probably would not play so much havoic with me.

Again I think tv is a waste of time and mine is 52 inches because the warden here wants it that way. And no I am not sending this from sing sing ha ha . Regards Ernie

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Bird And do you as I do and sleep in the chair until the coffee spill on you?
I did it again Yesterday. Ernie

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

Ernie- Yes, I sometimes have the coffee spill on me. I have a nice mug with a screw top that my grandson gave me for Christmas, and it is the cat's whiskers.

Unfortunately, there are times when I am sipping and forget to tighten the lid and doze off to sleep. Then when it spills, I get a rude awakening. Mitski doesn't like it either, and then our blanket goes into the laundry machine.

Bird maybe I need a blanket as well. Ernie

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

Ernie - A 52 inch TV! That is almost five feet wide. You must have a big room. I drool sometimes over one of those flat screen TV's that are extra wide. The last time I priced one it was around $5,000, so I will wait a while.

The only TV I will have watched today is the second game of the world series.

My dear wife, on the otherhand likes the TV for background noise--Judge Judy and the works. Fortunately, we have lots of space. I do not know how we would manage in a condo.

We have a friend who went to a motor home for his personal residence. After we were given a tour of it, I told my wife that we would not last a week in it. It would drive me nuts.

Bird about 18 x 32 after the kids left we kicked out a wall and made a nice room large enough to entertain and Linda to sew quilts in.

It works out she got a room I got a green house. She got a TV and I got a new motor for my tiller.

We also have friends who sold the farm and live in a big fifth wheel.

My idea of camping is the Holiday Inn No Not ever a motor home for me.However if there are salmon involved I have been known to sleep on a boat but not lately there are a lot of nice motels with restraunts. Ernie.

Holland, MI(Zone 6a)

Ernie - I am with you. My idea of "camping" is either a nice bed and breakfast, or a good motel with a complimentary breakfast.

My days of sleeping in a tent are over, but when our kids were young it was what we could afford. We gave our tent to our daughter who used it a bit for her family. This is dating me, but one time a strong wind blew our tent down, and my wife, to younguns and I crawled into our VW Squareback to keep dry.

Wow! How life does change!
