It finally blossomed!

I'm so excited! I've been dragging the pot in every night and putting it back out every day that wasn't too cold. All the effort finally paid off today. I think the color of this poor little asiatic was probably affected by the cooler temps and fewer hours of sunshine. It has some rose shading underneath the outer petals and just a bit of a blush on some of the inner ones. The order never got here until July, that's why it took so long to blossom. I have two more mystery ones that I won't see until next year.

Definitely worth the wait, huh? It's beautiful!

It's very nice. Did they come with names or was it just a mixed lot? I love lilies and discovered that they are pretty hardy plants.

It was a mixed lot, on sale, supposed to be 7 asiatic lilies. Three were not and I have no idea what they will turn out to be, a chipmunk bit the emerging sprout off one, and the other two are too small to blossom this year. But I'm happy with finally seeing one bloom. Gosh, it was like waiting for a baby to arrive!
