Re-learning Chemistry

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Well, back to the books. Nope, not for my own benefit, but my oldest brother is taking college Chemistry again, and he needs a study-partner. So I am trying hard to dredge up what I learned in the 1970s and 1980s. Very hard going...

Any body want to volunteer as an on-line mentor to a study partner to a college student? *groan

But it sure will help me as I struggly to try to correct the soil imbalances in my garden! Maybe now I can try to figure out a way to chemically alter the over-abundance of phosphorus in my soil. Or not.

High School Chemistry, maybe. College Chemistry, no way. Like night and day.

Sorry I vanished! Computer problems.

Jennifer, I will try to write you later tonight, if you are still willing. Osmotic pressure is causing me fits, as well as the formula for calculating the dipole moment.

I am also having to struggle to rememeber trig! I had trig in '76. Probably not thought about it since I finished my own Intro to Chem in '79. Old, ain't I? *giggle
