Specialized Plants Databases

Jacksonville, IL(Zone 5a)

I was wanting to access the database just for hostas and I don't see it listed any more. I was sure there were links to the specialized databases for roses, beans, tomatoes, etc, listed below or within the plants database link. But I just don't see them now. Were they moved or am I once again being struck with "sometimers?"

Yep roshana you are right the links are missing, Dave must be fooling around again LOL.
Until Dave fixes it You can enter the Hosta DB by entering the URL address manually or use the link below

Yes, the links are temporarily gone. I did some PDB programming yesterday (quite a bit, actually) and I accidentally forgot to put that back in. I'll make it happen.

Did we ever get a specialized database for Succulents?
If not, will we?

"No" and "probably not" - Dave is working on some changes to the PDB, and I don't really know how he's going to change things this time, so I won't speak for him.

As to why we never got a specialized db for succulents, there wasn't a good consensus as to what it should contain, and we had some members who were quite vocal in their dissent.

At any given time, I have an overflowing platter of to-do's and small projects - more than enough to say "grace" over, so I simply added a category for Cactus and Succulents, cut bait and moved on. (Sorry for the mixed metaphors :)

That'll work jus fine. Thank you.

Thanks for the information and the link to the hosta database. I'm so relieved that I'm still sane!
