I have been here for going on 3 years now, and I am just now getting around to using the Trade Tracker.
I have had several seed trades here in the last few weeks and I found that using the tracker is very helpful...but I was wondering....
This is kinda hard to explain, but I'll try.
I usually fill in the boxes on the new trade page with all the right info, except for the box that says "Person's e/mail" I usually put in the persons DG screen name...So I can keep up with who is who (everyone doesn't have the same name here as they do on their e/mail account) Therefore when I click on the person's e/mail it pops up a new write mail page for me to fill out. Which if I just type in the person's DG name, then when the e/mail opens it isn't the persons true e/mail address. So I was thinking what if there was a way that I could keep adding the DG screen names in the e/mail box and when I go to click on the name in that box it could possibly open up a DG e/mail?
Kinda like when I click that I have sent my part of the seed trade, it opens up a pre-written e/mail thru DG tellng the person that I have already sent the seeds. In other words, If I type in just the persons DG screen name in the e/mail box, can it be made where the e/mail goes thru DG?
I told ya I would have a hard time explaining it!!
Is this too confusing??

I follow you exactly, Molly. What I've done to compensate is put the correct email addy in the proper field so the email function works. Then I put in the Comments or Notes field at the bottom (can't remember what it's called) "DG ID:.____" where ______ = the members name. That way I can tie the 2 together which is what I think you're really wanting, n'est pas?

It would be nice though to have a DG member name field in the Trade Tracker.....Dave?
