And we found out Chele's training her girls to be snake charmers!

A neighbor boy brought by his latest find, a garter snake. It was so neat, really docile and beautiful. It was passed from person to person and enjoyed.

What's WITH me today! Here's a snake picture, with her finder.

I love the sense of wonder Chele's girls have about nature. It made us notice more, too.

Super Great 24/7 Job Chele!

My mom introduced me to all kinds of reptiles and other exotic critters as a child, so she was eager to hold the snake, too.

Oh these are great. Chele is that little boy the same one that brought the frog over when I was there?

It was too sunny to get a good shot, but take a look at this pond of theirs and all the lush vegetation growing there!

Can you see the visitor on this plant in her yard?

Chele said that boy can keep critters he finds for, what, three days, then has to release them and find a new temporary pet. I think that's a great system!

Boy, sorry about that snake. I guess the girls are so used to them they can't fathom being scared of them. They weren't trying to scare you - just reassure you. Not much difference there when you're scared of something, I know! If someone shoved a net full of yellowjackets in my face, I'd be a screaming mimi.

Oh, I know, they were excited, reminded me of how I'd be with a kitten or a puppy.

YIKES.... I just have NEVER liked snakes...

Okay, I finally have time to look AND post. LOL I love these pics. It sure was a fun day. Hey GW, go do for Jazzy what you did for the dogs! hahaha Um, just not on a dog food package. :)

What a combination of food products, yuk. No wonder she fell asleep, she was having a siesta after eating the Mexican nachos.

You guys are too funny! She ate conqueso dip and bbq meatballs with tortilla chips. Best sponsors right now are Hormel, Velveeta, Armour and Kroger. Go get 'em Kimberley! LOL You know what? I had four dozen bakery cookies on top of the fridge and forgot to get them out!!

No wonder it's time for another little one - the girls have all grown and eating grown up food!!! lol!!! Great pics as always GW!!!

Look Kimberley, there really were fish and water underneath that green 'carpet' of floating plants! LOL I pulled about 80% of the plants out the other day and put them to composting. There was a large frog/toad floating but it hopped off before I could get the camera and go back. :(

so, Badseed, do you ever sleep???

I got about ten hours last night but it was because I am sick. LOL I guess it made up for the two I got the night before. ;)
