Farewell to Lilliana

For those of you who don't know, one of our DG subscribers has passed away. It is Lilliana, from Cape Coral, FL. She had bypass surgery on September 16 and battled many complications. Friends of hers posted in the prayer forum thread Lilliana began, keeping us updated. Sadly, she passed away Sunday morning. http://davesgarden.com/t/398046/

Thank you for starting this thread, GW. I first met Lilliana through her thread in the Prayer Forum. She was clearly a lovely person. May God bless her in her journey, and may He bless and comfort all of her family, friends and loved ones.

I hope everyone follows your link, Kimberly. It was an amazing journey for all of us throughout her diagnosis to her eventual passing.

I just went to the Link Kimberley posted sounds like she was a very courageous lady. My condolences to her family and friends.

Reading that brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry to say I never knew Lilliana, nor did I have any dealings with her. It sounds as though she was a real fighter. My condolences to her friends and family.

Kimberley, do we know who her family is or where they are in Ohio?

I don't know how to reach them other than to send cards to Lilliana's address and hope they're forwarded. I wrote to someone who'd expressed interest in a trade with her at one time, hoping perhaps that person might have an address for her. I'll post on the prayer thread, too.

Im saddened by this news! She was a very tough cookie! It looks like she had quiet a battle the last month of her life. Its so sad to lose another of our family memebers here at daves!
May we all find comfort and peace as we think about Lillian.
