Thanks so much Melissa_O for my ornaments!! The kids have already hung them up around the house and we haven't even decorated yet!!
Thank you so much Wandasflowers. I received my ornament on Friday and a package of personalized photo note cards, Very pretty, from Wandasflowers. The ornament is a clear glass bulb with an indentation in the center. In that is a little flower with a butterfly sitting on the flower. Very pretty. I set it on my table with a candle behind it and the light shines through and make it look so nice. I haven't got my tree up yet but it will have a special place as soon as I do. Merry Christmas and thank you again.
I also received my ornament from Wanda on Friday, a clear glass ball with a hummingbird feeding from a flower and a pack of note cards. Thank you so much Wanda! I will post a picture tomorrow. I am thinking of getting a stand for it and keeping it out year round, it is so nice.
Please let me know if you do not get your ornament. I'll contact your sender and see if there is a problem.
Any that haven't been received by the 15th, I'll put up a list of those who have not sent as of yet, just as a reminder to get them out out, I'll check them off as they are received.
As I said above, "The ornaments should be received no later than December 1" so PLEASE if you haven't mailed them, get them in the mail ASAP, or contact me PRIVATELY and let me know what is going on. I am in the middle of my finals, so I am not here at Dave's very often at all.
Melissa
Debi, I did indeed receive the ornaments.........and they are each in one piece. Thank you so much. The bird ornament is the first one that was put on the tree. It is adorable. The wreath is on the tree also.
Debi gave me a square, blue glass ornament with birdhouses and chickadees on it; also a small wreath with white ribbon around it and to hang it, with white roses. I can't post pics of them, so imagine them. They are lovely.
Thanks again Debi. Hope you enjoyed your cruise.
Cathy
Misty Meadows had my name, and she sent the CUTEST angel snowman, made from a LIGHTBULB!!!
If I can figure out how they covered it, it would be a fantastic project for my sons class! It is just too cute, thank you so much Kathy. AND.... the gold ribbon it's "wings" perfectly matches my ribbons on my tree!
I would like to let everyone know that even though my ornament from ZenZinna was stolen she mailed me a beautiful Christmas card with money to buy another ornament. I will go shopping this weekend and post a picture of the ornament I purchase. Thanks Zen it was so kind of you to do this.
Betty
Melissa, I will see if I can find out how they made it. :) I know the woman that made it and I bought it at the homemakers' bazaar a month ago (sorry, it took me so long to get it to you).
The head, I know it's not a golf ball and its not styrofoam, ...I'm stumped. Will have to ask Linda. It appears to be a special kind of paint too, thick enough to stay on the lightbulb.
I will let you know as soon as I can get in touch with her.
So glad you like it. Happy Holidays, Kathy @ Misty Meadows Farm
Maybe a ping-pong ball?
tortoisekeeper you got it! i'm so happy because I so wanted you to have an ornament from me!
Zen
A very nice Secret Santa felt bad about my ornaments being stolen and sent me some new ones. It was so very kind of this person to do this. I am at work right now but will post pictures of my ornaments when I get home. I just wanted to let everyone know about this. I will also post a picture of my ornament that I buy from ZenZinna this week end. Bad luck turned out to be double nice for me. Thaks so much and I hope you have a Very Merrry Christmas.
Betty
That's great, Betty!
Springsong!!! oh NO!!!!! I can't believe someone stole your ornament out of the package!!! Rotten birds!!!
I'm going to be sending you another! FEAR NOT!!
I can't believe some people! Oh well, as you say, I hope they really enjoy it (I doubt it really).
I'm beginning to wonder now about the safety of sending ANYthing through the post office. I think I'll send your next package UPS.
Hugs,
~ Carole
Samantha just got her ornament from MistyMeadows' granddaughter today! She is so thrilled! It's a beautiful doll ornament.
I'll try to get pictures of both our ornaments by Sunday and post them for you all to see.
Have a blessed holiday season.
~ Carole
Cajun2, so glad that Samantha liked Tory's ornament. I wish I had known her age, it would have helped....but what girl doesn't like a porcelain doll :) Tory's other grandmother lives in your parts. She lives and works in Haltom City. Used to live in Euless (where Tory's father grew up) and her great grandmother lives in Arlington. :) Thought it was ironic that she got a name so close to her other family. Glad you got it and she enjoyed it. Kathy & Tory @ Misty Meadows Farm
Melissa, I just found a site that might helpful to you. I haven't been able to get in touch with Linda on how to make the lightbulb snowman, but this site has a santa, elf, and angel made with lightbulb. And many other neat things. Enjoy. Kathy :) www.allfreecrafts.com
NotMartha's son, Daymein had my daughter, Eden's name, and wow, they sent a ton of stuff. Eden was so tickled when she opened it. Several cute ornaments, a kitty cat stamper, the box was just loaded, she loved it. Thank Daymien for her Dori, and I'll try to get a picture of her with her "loot" when she comes home.... Dori, you really did TOOO much!
Melissa
oh no cajun2 you really don't want you to have to go through the trouble of sending me another ornament it is really okay. i thank you so much for sending me the frist one, i just wish i had gotten it, but that isn't your fault i can't believe the post office would send a package once it has been wide opened and you can see that it is empty, but at least that way i knew what happened
dayme n dori say im glad she got the box and that she likes the stuff-Dayme was so happy to be in this trade.
thanks for running it.
dori

Mine are ready to go out -- Debi_z said she was going on a cruise and not to sweat it if I didn't get them to her right away. Mom has my ornament at her house, and I'm visiting her tomorrow. Tonight I'm rearranging furniture (favorite cold-weather pastime next to being online).
i'm home from my cruise and the 2 extra days we spent in puerto rico, because boston's, logan airport was shut down because of snow. :) but it feels good to be home and it feels good to hear that lotusblossom likes her ornaments.
lotusblossom i had a hard time giving up that ornament. i loved the color i used on the inside and how well it went with the birdies and there houses. :) i'm very grateful that they arrived safely. i sure used a lot of wrapping to make sure they did. :)
merry christmas one and all. now back to the craft room to finish gifts and oh yes, i haven't wrapped one gift yet either. oy vey am i behind. :)

I love the pewter tree ornament and the little Santa figurine from you, Annabellegabby! Thank you so much! I don't have my camera handy, but I'll post pictures later.
Toooooo-orrow, tomorrow!
I mail yours tomorrow
Debi_Z dear, please don't faint...
And here's a picture of the neat goodies I received from Annabellegabby.
P.S. Got the shipping label and postage printed, Debi - it'll be in the postman's hands tomorrow morning!

Dear Gardenwife
I am so happy that you got the gifts. I hoped you'd like them and feel such a warm fuzzy feeling when I give. It really does feel better to give than to receive, ya know?
:-)
Merry Christmas & a Happy New year
Im sorry I just got back on the computer. Ive been supporting my children as they lost their daddy on Dec. 2. He was helping drive a semi to make extra money with his brother-in-law and died of a perforated ulcer and bled out in the back of the sleeper per the Ohio State Patrol. Their will be a lawsuit against his brother in law for not stopping to get him treatment and driving from Jellico, KY with a dead body. Prayer's are needed, this is such a tradedgy. My children are really hurting now, so I must be there for them.
God Bless you all
dear gardenwife,
i resusitated myself long enough to find a package from you on my steps.
i received your beautiful ornaments. she sent me not 1, not two but three!!!!! beautiful red metal bells, with green holly leaves and bright gold ribbon. they are so shiney.
in gardenwifes note to me, she mentioned that an angel was given there wings everytime a christmas bell toles. so i had myself a ringing bell jamboree. i picked up those 3 bells and rang and rang and rang them. i think i got the whole graduating class of 2003. they now have wings! this may sound silly to some, but i felt my angels around me smiling, laughing and full of joy.
thank you gardenwife. your a sweeti.

BrugAddict, I am so sorry to hear this sad news! I read the news story and thought how sad it was, and to know it was your kids' dad...I'm praying for them and your families.
Debi-z, I'm so glad you liked them! They caught my eye at the store, and for some reason I knew they'd be just the thing to send you. :)
Wow, I didnt even realize youre from the same place he was discovered. Actually, I believe this is where they were to make the delivery to, in Newark. He actually died in Jellico, KY. If his brother in law hadnt have backed into the other truck there is no telling what he was going to do at that rest stop with my children's father. Yes, it is very sad. He was my x-husband. Did you read anything else since that week he was found in the paper's up there?
email me if you have please
BrugAddict ypu have an e mail.
