Soulmate...Gartitude...True Love.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Wolves are as anything Wild.

We have been forsaken, tossed aside, cast into the burning rays of a sun that forever rises.
Longing for the cool shadows that we shared, for the earth beneath my feet and moon against my back.
Where am I?!
Lost, so lost. Head down, variations of light, blinding me.
I'll throw back my head and call, will you hear me?!
We are lost, lots cast and forgotten by solidtude.
I'll lay down here now, and close my eyes,sleep...
But dreams are filled with days gone by to intrude a peaceful state.
Firery skies of hate abide.I hear my people calling out, crying for redemption.
My daughter! She has fallen, the hunters enclose, My wife! My Son, My Brother!
Their Souls scream, losing heart in fear.

All is lost, as I trek this deserted heaven turned to hell.
Smoldering ashes of a once proud pack, now laying broken,bound...scattered to the winds of despair.

You find me here,

Will you kill me as they did mine? Or will you pass on, blind to what you see?
My tears have fled, but you, you offer your own.
As gently, so gently you stroke my sorrow while you carry my broken body away.
Warmth?
All is cold, but you lay beside me, calling in an ancient voice, you're free now child.
Time, it passes as a rainbow after the storm.
I still hear their cries, see the slaughter. But my pain, has dimmed, replaced by your occasional stroke and ready smile.

Has it been years? Oh, but that is how time goes I suppose. Now it is my turn, I must rejoin The Pack.Your tears are here again, like those many moons passed...
As silently you hold me close, you, you kind Soul, you chant me on...into the Spirit Land.
I see my Brothers,My Sisters...They all stand to attention, their Leader is back!
I turn back, for just a second, a steady gaze is what I offer, Thank You.

I see animals in a different light than that of People. As alot of us do, I suppose.
Since childhood I could not turn a lost soul down.I still can't.People call me obsessed, weird. But I dont care.
They say shame on you for keeping wild animals as "pets". Hah.
I love my Country, my People they are my everything, My Animals rank with my People.

I know true love, I have seen it, I've held it in my hands in the form of a wild bird, that stopped and waited arms length away,
saying thank you for releasing me.For mending my broken body, allowing my soul to shine. That bird was wild when I captured it with
a useless wing.I fed and cared for him, all the while, he was Wild.He stayed with us for six months, a Wild Junco I believe.
The day came to set him free, I treked all the way to the creek on foot, opened my hands and up he flew.He was Free.
But he did flee, he stopped and perched by me,then the oddest thing happened. He started to sing, and sing loudly.
He followed me for over an hour, all over the creek, singing to ME.If that isnt love I dont know what is.He LOVED his freedom.
He chose to stay with me after release...out of? He was by no means tame, he hated being in captivity. He wouldnt let you touch him,
much less pet him.But that wild creature stayed by my side.We are blessed in the world.I thank God in Heaven for every breath given to me.
I by no means have earned life, Life is a gift.Do not take it for granted, because when it flees, you will realise, you never really felt it.

Really nice...thank you. I am a wolf defender. How can anyone who truly looks into the eyes and soul of a wolf NOT be?
I read you "homepage".
"At least I didn't kill the last manatee."....I loved that!!

"Bless the beasts and the children
For in this world they have no voice
They have no choice

Bless the beasts and the children
For the world can never be
The world they see

Light their way
When the darkness surrounds them
Give them love
Let it shine all around them

Bless the beasts and the children
Give them shelter from a storm
Keep them safe
Keep them warm...."

Absolutely beautiful, absolutely understandable and wonderfully true. As we treat, so shall we be treated. Can't remember if someone has said that before me-but is what I believe.
