DG e-Cookbook is now online!

Almost 2 years ago, 107 members of DG collaborated to create the DG cookbook. We then printed them up and everyone bought a copy. It was a lot of fun!

CoCo wrote me this morning and reminded me of that project and suggested it be made available in electronic format for everyone to view. So, 2 years later, it's finally up and viewable for all!

You can click on "Extras" in the menu to find it, or go directly here: http://davesgarden.com/cookbook/

There's some great recipes in there!

The recipes that you see in the E-cookbook are completely unedited- they are posted exactly as the members themselves posted them (including the catagory they were placed in). If you have questions about the recipe, the best thing is to ask the poster. I sure did a LOT of emailing when putting together the final copy :)

Trish

Thank you so much Dave and Trish for getting the recipes up for all to see and the opportunity for all of us to experience some fresh new recipes.

Move over everyone; I'm coming in. lol

Perfect timing, Dave. When we're only getting a few hours of daylight, the weather's nasty and snow covers the garden, I turn to cooking. These recipes are all "home tested" by real people, so I can hardly wait to try them out. Thanks from a newbie who would have missed out on the cookbook.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Wow, that's great - It'll be really handy to have those online!

Seattle Burbs, WA(Zone 8b)

Love this! I'm trying "eyesoftexas" cheesy broccoli and ham bake TONIGHT!

Awesome! It looks like the online one even includes the submitted recipes that didn't make it into the book?

I thought I had the cookbook memorized, but I see some recipes online that don't look familiar.

Yes! I think we only were allowed 300 recipes (Trish may correct that number for me) in the printed edition, but there are almost 2,000 recipes submitted!

The "eCookbook" contains all 1,934 recipes, in their original unedited glory. :)

Dinner has been served! My teenage sons loved it! This is VERY kid (young adult?) friendly! Ok, so I accidentally burned the top. I was busy posting on DG! :-p

Thanks eyesoftexas!

How true, Jim!

DD (Alex) fell in love with Mystic's Pretzel Salad! She said when she gets home she's gonna try to make it. When I told her I had the recipe (in the DG Cookbook) she hollered out loud! Whewwww! (And she said, "Mystic said we could also make it with pineapple instead of cherries if we want to!") (Now how do these kids get all the secret info?)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

It would be good with peaches, too, I bet. Mmmmmm.....
