Broken Images!!!???

Why are all the pics in Photos and everywhere else showing as broken images???

Never mind, I just found out it must be something to do with my puter.........gotta find GW and friends.

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago, restarted my computer and the problem went away. Try it and see if it takes care of it....

eyes, have you installed some new software recently? Specifically, how about zonealarm or some other firewall product?

Spybot never affected my pics, but this is what happened yesterday after I downloaded Web Creator, a program to help build a website.......I just hate this!! I see all the pics as broken images, mine and everybody elses.

Well, Web Creator definitely did something to your 'puter. I just checked the logs and you browser is sending referers correctly, so that's not the problem.

My images are being sent to you as Error 304 (not modified) so your computer is supposed to be pulling the images out of your cache.

Can you see this picture?

Dave, I can see it but it is broken up in blotchy squares, like trying to capture and print animated gifs........does that make sense to you??

Wow, well, I have no idea what the problem is. You should contact "Web Creator" and ask them to tell you what they did to your 'puter and how can you fix it.

Why not UNINSTALL Web Creator and see what happens?

I did Ulrich, still no avail.......did get the guy to email me, but describing it to him wasn't easy, now waiting to hear from him again.

Found the problem.........when I upgraded from Juno to Juno Speedband, I didn't realize that images at the faster speed would be distorted. Now I know that I can speed it up for web surfing, and turn it off for images....that'll work.........at least I know I'm not bonkers now!!
