DG Store is it closed?

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Someone on another thread asked about the DG mug but I cannot locate the store to link to it for them. Is it no linger available or just closed temporarily due to a new baby needing time?

I did close the store down some time ago, because I ran out of product!! I only have a few mugs and cookbooks left and I didn't want Trish to have to spend any time sewing shirts during this busy season of our lives.

So, I took it down. :) Those mugs are cool and I still have a few left (not enough to sell, but enough to hold for fun prized for future DG contests!)

Well, that is both good news and bad! Good that you sold so many and that Trish is getting time with the new baby and bad that since we have grown from the wee little mole hill into a huge mountain there are a whole lot of newbies that will not be able to buy a mug.

Maybe one day I'll place an order for another gross. That's not a bad idea!

I want a mug ...

I'd also like a t-shirt, should they become available.

Well, I think I could part with the few that I have - I could probably sell off 15 of them and still have a few left for special occasions.

I'll setup the mugs into the store sometime soon, then. The price will be $10 (as before) plus shipping (I'll have to weigh the mug and box to see how much it all costs, but likely it'll be a flat $3.85).

It is an extremely cool coffee mug. Many DGers have been using their daily for around two years now, I think.

I would like a coffee mug and a cookbook

thanks

Dave,
Mark me down for a mug and tee shirt. But if you have only mugs I definitely want to buy one.

I'd love a mug too! Are there images of the T-Shirts and mugs just to "look" at?

Will the store be in 'Member's Stores" ?

Dave--I'd be willing to help in selling mugs. If shipping is a hassle for you and Trish right now I could do it for you. Wouldn't be a problem at all. If you wanted to order the mugs, ship them to me, set up the store to have order info emailed to me then I would ship them for you.

('Sides....I want a mug too and looks like there's more than 15 takers out there!). BTW....are they B I G mugs? I gots to have one of them mugs thats the size of 2 regular-sized mugs for my mornin' coffee.

Seriously....email me if you're interested. I run a mail order electronics hobby business with DH, so I know what's involved.

And I wanna see all the stuff!

Like I was saying...There are a whole lot of newer members that would love to have a Mug or shirt ;~)

Okay, I got the product back up there. Turns out we had a bit more than I thought - about 60 of them are up for sale, so I don't think we'll sell out. Anyone who wants one - go for it!

The mug holds 12 ounces (I just checked) and is shipped priority (19 ounces for mug + box). The system will calculate the correct postage at checkout time.

No hurry, Dave, but WHEN you have time ~ I'd be interested in a tshirt. If you've already said, please forgive me, but how much are they?

LOVE the coffee mug too! I may just have to make that my Christmas gift from my inlaws, since they never know what to get me (go figure!)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh, yay!! Mom was just saying this weekend that she wishes she'd been able to get a mug. Have I got news for her! :)

Just got my mug today! I is really nice! And such a beautiful color! Can't wait to start my day with Dave's!

Edited to add: I just heated the mug in the microwave for 2 minutes and the water was boiling but the mug's handle was room temperature! Very nice Dave!!

Davena,
....the best way to keep it cool is to never let it sit in water. All fired pottery has a unglazed area on the bottom where it sat in the kiln.Especially stoneware will wick water up through this area....this is why older pottery gets all those little cracks in the glaze....and also what makes it heat up in the 'Radar Range"lol

Got my mugs and cookbook today. They are wonderful! Thank you Dave
