Way to go AngelSong; like your way of thinking on hog-tie part.
Sweetie, your house sure is lovely and know how anxious you must be about moving in. Like the flower bed that is made there along the curb.

Sledder; ha,ha,ha. Catch me, catch me, if you can; I think I can run faster than you can.

I think I left Sledder in the dust.lol

So CoCo, are your roots firmly planted?? I hope so!!! Hey Jen, lets get some Kool-aid and watch the ummm, 'adults' play. LOL

Sledder; no fair, you know I have a bummed foot and can't run so fast right now. Have to give me a good head-start first.

Bitty; you have mail. You know how to get me back now don't you? Just have to mention recipes, and I'll be here with bells on. Well maybe not with bells, then you all would be able to hear me coming.

Badseed; guess I'll be here for awhile anyway

Now, anyone game for some homemade ice cream? Chocolate Mint ok?

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

Dear COCO, I hope you don't take offense at this but my fave dog is named COCO and I love her dearly. I'm sure you're a great person from all the folks supporting you to stay .I don't know you but I hope to and I hope you stay. Anyone named COCO is good in my book!!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Chocolate mint sounds scrumdidlyicious.

No offense taken berrygirl and thank you for the kind words. Yes, plan on staying for awhile anyway. Someone else on here; I think it's Honeybee, she has a bird named CoCoBean and a friend of ours has a cat named CoCo, so we CoCo's get around in all different shapes.....lol

gardenwife; chocolate mint it is then. Didn't think anyone would turn down chocolate of any sorts

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

I'd like a raspberry sorbet! Yum!

Mount Angel, OR(Zone 8a)

Chocolate mint, now that is a recipe I want Coco. Do you make your icecream with an old crank machine or how do you do it. I want the whole scoop. (pun intended) LOL What other icecream recipes you got up your sleeve?

By the way berrygirl, we have a sweet chocolate lab here too and guess what his name is? yep, it's Coco. Coco actually is our miracle dog. It is a long story but we think he came directly from heaven. So berrygirl, tell me about your name. Do you grow any berries or do you just like to eat em?

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Thanks coco, you just reminded me that we got an ice cream maker for Christmas last year and have only used it once. Better get busy.

Weeellll, be patient, I will try to make it short. Before Coco, we had two golden retrievers,a pair who gave many wonderful puppies that we sold eventually and our kids just loved having puppies. The goldens were Sam and Susie. We had had Sam since our daughter, Katy, was 2. She was now 16 and struggling with some depression. Sam died and we were pretty attached to him. Our good friend Nick was also very ill and died shortly after. A difficult time in our lives. Katy wanted a chocolate lab to replace Sam. We looked in the papers and they were more expensive than we were prepared to spend like $350. We said no way we wouldn't spend that for a dog , he would be a farm dog no less. But our daughters persisted looking and were going to spend their own money. Well, one day while working in the garden about dusk, I heard this little yelping sound from out in the fields west of our farm. I thought it was a fox as we had been seeing foxes that spring.I called the girls outside and said what do you think that is? They took off and walked out into the fields about 1000 feet from our house and there was no other neighbor's house within half mile. What do they bring back, this little chocolate lab puppy looking to be between 6 and 8 weeks, short chocolate cute little thing. He was dry but there was already wetness on the grass as it had rained. They were so happy, Katy brightened up. He slept with the oldest daughter for the first week. I called every neighbor around us asking if he was theirs, nobody claimed him. We finally settled on the name Coco and we still have him and he is a great dog. He is obedient and firmly attached to here. Katy said Grandpa Nick( our friend who had just passed away0 sent him from heaven. Katy is now 24.
