When I do a general forum (not Plants Database) search, at the top of the listings is the following in green type: 'Click here to skip straight to first instance of "searched item".' When I click on it, the type turns to red and is enclosed in a box but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Also I have never noticed this option before. Is it new or just new to me? Here is an example of a search I did for "pink panda". http://davesgarden.com/t/385439/pink+panda#first
I was also wondering if there is someplace on DG that gives more detailed info on doing a forum search. For example, can I combine 2 items with a plus sign such as 'NoH2O + corydalis 'China Blue'? I am not sure how specific I can get in a search. Thanks.

NoH2O,
You found a replicable bug in the forums. I've just fixed this, so would you try again now?

Hi Dave,
I tried several different searches and the skip feature seems to be working for all of them. I did notice that the skip feature seems to apply only to the 'Content' column, not the 'Author' column. If I want to search for threads started by a member I know I can go to their homepage and start a search there. How do I search for posts not started by a member? For instance if I know in someone else's thread Lupinelover made a comment about corn gluten for weed control, how would I look for that? Thanks.
