Here's hoping it never has pain in it!

I broke my ankle in '87 and I had to have a metel plate and 6 screws put in it. What made it even worse is we were camping out on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina when it happened! and we lived in GA then too!! Had to ride back to Ga with my foot hanging out the window! The hospital in NC wouldn't do anything to it except put a splint on it..needless to say the camping trip was cut short that year.
Had surgery 3 days after I got home. Mine was painful though...maybe my doctor didn't do as good a job as your's!

Take it easy, and do exactly what the dr says!

Hmmm I wonder how much pain you will have after the pain killers that they used for the surgery wear off? Hopeful that you won't have any pain even.

Take care of yourself and don't over do it.

Tina, Does this mean that you can come to Round up? Either way I will see you soon. Glad it's over for you. Jo

I broke my ankle three years ago and had a plate and eight screws put in. The four inch long screw holoding the two ankle bones together was removed after the bones were healing and the plate and seven remaining screws were left in. I still have them. I didn't have pain after the surgery either, and have never had any. Praise God!

What a great report. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I'll join others in admonishing you to NOT overdo for some time.
