Honestly? We don't do anything with the cumulative responses except keep them archived. Nothing, nada, zip. There is nothing scientific about the pollbooth topics or the list of possible responses.

We have the voting booth because Dave programmed it, and asked everybody (as a voting booth question, of course) if it was a fun idea. Most of the responses were favorable, so we agreed to run a weekly topic, keeping the subject light-hearted and/or garden-related.

It's been a good way to stimulate conversation (a virtual "ice breaker" if you will) and gets people talking about something they might not otherwise even think about discussing.

So who picks the voting booth questions? By and large, they come from yours truly. I'm ALWAYS looking for new ideas, especially since my brainstorming buddy (Dave's wife, Trish) is about to burst forth with another child, so if you have questions you'd like to see asked, let us know!
