In the pond there are these fish.
They live no where else on earth.
For many moons my people have watched them.
Our children chasing them through the shallows laughing as children do.
Then one day a single fish darted away to chase after a bug.
Now, in this school everyone hunts together,never alone.
There is safety in numbers the elders said.
The other fish saw this trespass and were angered.

"Great Spirit!" They cried.
"Do you see what he did? He left us to search alone!"

Now The Great Spirit was wise and in his wisdome he replied.

"I see what your friend has done.What would you have me to do?"

In unison they cried again, "Cast him out!He is not welcome here any longer!"

Sighing the Great Spirit cast the little fish out into the pond to live all alone.

Days past, when another fish broke the shoal to chase a bug.

Again the fish exclaimed.

"Cast Him Out!"

This went on and on and on.
Until there was no shoal, there were only single fish.

Sure enough, one by one the fish were taken.
A heron here, and eagle up high...until most were dead and gone.

What was left of the fish cried unto the great spirit.

"What has happened?! Why do we all die?!"

"Oh my dear sweet children.Because of your closed hearts you cast each other out.One by one you turned away,as two by two you didnt live to see another day.I created you to live together happily,I gave you each a mind of your own my children,so that you might enjoy your stay on earth.But in your free will, you each chose a different path.Scattered to and fro,all alone.There is safety in the pack, but that same pack is only as strong as it's leader,and the members of the pack, give that leader strength."

All the fish nodded.

In his great love, the great spirit brought what was left of the fish back together.In numbers they were safe from harm.

Moral?
You tell me.:P.

Geeeeeee, I'd rather be surrounded by a bunch of my own kind, than to take the world on all alone,;)......dont you agree?:P.
