You guys are a hoot. I have tears in my eyes from laughing so much. Think I'll pass on the worms though. Don't care to be so up close and personal with them.

I agree, this thread is a hoot, just what we needed. I've wondered about this: If you feed your basement dwelling worms fermented fruit would they get drunk and unruly, sing all night and keep you awake?

I'll pass on the worms too. It sounds like too much work for something that is going to die every winter anyway, and I am not going to keep worms in my basement! DH would never go for that. It's too bad, because worms are one of the few creepy crawly things that I am not afraid to touch!
