Uploading images

Where/how do I upload images to DG? Is there an upload feature, or should I upload them to another server and simply place the html code?

Any help here is appreciated. I've looked all through the site here and cannot find a place to upload images. If it's here, I must be looking to hard. :)

go to photos forum, at the bottom you will see a box for the photo, click on browse to find the pic you want to upload.

Wrenn, there are only a couple forums where you can upload pictures - photos and identfication.

If what you're wanting to upload doesn't fit in either of those categories, you create an entry in your journal and attach an image to it, and then place a link to that entry within a posting on any forum. I think Dave limits our ability to upload images out of consideration for those on slower modems, as photos really hog the bandwidth. Post back here if you're still puzzled.

Thanks so much 'go_vols'. I did upload 2 photos to my journal and also posted one in the Photos forum. Took me a while, but by reading the help more carefully, I was able to do it.

Thanks again for your response. It seems everyone here is willing to help in whatever is needed. :)
