Oh my :P

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Evert, what did you do, remove it? Mitjo's link won't work.

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Evert, you nasty guy!
He removed it from his website.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

NO fair! I'm always a day late!
What was it about anyway?

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Newspaper article of Evert.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Is it on an online site, Mitjo? Maybe you can hunt it down and translate, LOL! C'mon, Evert - put it back up for us to see again! :D :D

St. Louis, MO(Zone 6b)

Pretty please :-) Can we see it?

Bowie, AZ(Zone 8B)

waiting....waiting....holding my breath.....please???

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

Please may we see it?

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Okay, you wanted to see it. Here it is. http://www.freewebs.com/planthouse2/article.htm

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Mitjo.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh, I remember this! I remember liking the picture of Evert misting his plants, too. I think it's great to see young men like yourselves interested in botany as much as you are in pop culture and all the latest gadgets. Here, so many young adults plant themselves in front of TV and play videogames instead of planting, well, plants! It's just really good to see and makes me smile. :)

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Heheh, no problem. I just readed it again and I noted that there was oem mistakes...Now it's better
:]

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Hmm, did I give my permission to that? ;)

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Well, no, I suppose...

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

uh-oh, is Mitjo in trouble?

Bowie, AZ(Zone 8B)

Just now have the opportunity to see the web site. I like it...Keep up the good work! Pictures are so clear...farizona

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

Farizona, you could see my better website. Those pictures are bad. http://www.freewebs.com/mvgallery

Jerome, MI(Zone 5b)

Ah there it is...yes I remember it...Evert you should be so proud..of it...I think it is really neat...How is the Tulip tree doing now? I have some seedlings..if you want another let me know...hehehe...In the last storm..it got topped...but there are some growing below...hehehe...So great...Nice to see the article again....

Diana.....

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Yeah of course I should ;) It is three years old or something btw..

The african tulip tree is doing just fine, it has got new branches and I took it inside week ago.

I didn't remember you also had them, were the seeds from me? I hope they grow nicely for you.. No, I don't need extra ones right now, I still have five or so seeds to start new ones. It's a really nice plant :)

Jerome, MI(Zone 5b)

Hehehe, yours is tropical..ours is hardy to zone 5...it is a tree, strange because it has 5 different kinds of leaves on the same tree...it blooms in the spring..the flowers are shaped like...tulips...they bloom on the top...ours is about 20 feet high...kind of hard to see the blooms...But a neat tree...anyway....
I do not have seeds...just suckers growing from the roots on the bottom. hehehe.... this is the tree... the top is off...from the storm ----

Maybe it got it's share of Chornobyl fallout in 1986 ;)

Yes, that is the "Northern" Tulip Tree - Liriodendron tulipifera. Mine is the tropical one, Spathodea campanulata.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

We have a lot of those tulip trees here in the mtns. of NC. They are commonly called Tulip Poplars and when they are really large, they are known as yellow poplar.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

There is one in our next-door neighbor's back yard and it's so pretty: http://davesgarden.com/t/264701/

Shalimar, FL(Zone 8a)
