PDB: Are we rating the plant or photos in the Plants Database?

I just went to the data base to see what a member had added, as a link from her member page. I could not see her addition to the DB, plus there was a rating on the page below the photos. Is the rating for the photo or the plant?
Also just found 'advanced search' area. Looks really good, I'll have to go back there when I have more time.

The rating will be for the plant.It reflects on how whoever submitted the rating feels about it.

Something that was successful in their zone and garden will have a higher rating than something that did not.

Different members will have different opinions on certain plants.Hopefully,we will build the database to a point where you will have several ratings to read from different areas of the world.This will give you information on how it may do in your area.

Anyone is welcome to add a rating to any plant that they have had experience with.This adds to the diversity of the PDB.

Can you see my mind is on photos?! one of my favorite things, after plants.
