Looks like it is. But non-subscribers miss so much fun and good friends...I love it here. Jo

Non subscribers can read and post in this FAQ forum.

What a good idea this thread is and especially if non-subscribers can read it. I am new to DG for less than a week and I am really benefiting from the questions and answers here.
Also I think it is so nice of 'seasoned members' to try and help us 'newbies'
Thanks so much, Dave and all

Oh, GOOD - This is very helpful!

Using the Q&A I already found the 'advanced search' that I didn't even know existed until today. And I only woke up, who knows how much more I will learn by bedtime ! Especially if I don't get off the computer and do something else !!

Correction: Non-subscribers can NOT post in this forum, but they can read all replies.

I previously had it setup so that anybody could post in this forum, but people started using it as a place to post questions about their gardening and stuff. That's not the intention of this forum. This forum is only intended to address questions about the website itself. Gardening questions need to go into the Garden Talk forum.

Annual dues are quite inexpensive on DG, and are needed to keep the large site operational. If we allowed posting on the FAQ forum, people would use it to ask their gardening questions and wouldn't see the need to financially support the site.
