Thanks for the link, I had found that section already. I was looking for a reading list or list of recommended titles that members had experience with.

Here are a couple of examples:
Well-Tended Perennial Garden: Planting & Pruning Techniques by Tracy Disabato-Aust

American Horticultural Society A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants Christopher Brickell (Editor)

Happenstance, at this point there isn't a book review area. It's one of the next steps to creating a full-fledged virtual "Reference Desk" within the Watchdog. We are in the process of "step 1", which is adding magazines; next is adding newsletters, and then starting on books. (Which may require additional fields for author and ISBN, etc. We need to think it through before we dive in, which is why it's third on the list.)

Yer welcome Happenstance, I now understand what you meant.
I'll be glad to see the book review area implemented! ;~)

Being a book lover and new to DG, I just wanted to say that I would love to see a book review/suggestion area too.

Terry, I also am interested in books people can recommend, especially books that relate to gardening in my area. Would there be any problem with creating a thread in one of the forums asking for/giving recommendations? Books are expensive, so I appreciate other people's insights before I buy.

Thanks in advance.

Ahhh, an excellent and timely plug for the Garden Bookworm which is now up and running. And it definitely needs opinions (remember, what you know will help others!)
