Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

I went and saw the movie last night!! Im a nightmare on elm street fan!!! i was cheering for freddy-even though i already knew the outcome-from my sons telling me about the movie
But it was great to see Freddy back on the BIG screen. I sure hope they make a new ELM street movie!!!

Jeepers Creepers2 looks like a great thriller too!! i love scary movies.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Dori!! I love those scary movies too! When I was in high school I won tickets to "Happy Birthday To Me". Now that was gory one!!!

(Zone 5a)

I love scary movies as well and there is only one that really got to me, that was The Exorcist. I still get a creepy feeling when I watch it.

Northport, ME(Zone 5b)

You must see "Evil Dead 2". E.D.the first was low budget, but made money. The producers took the profits and made E.D.2. Another is "Near Dark". Modern vampire story. Does express the idea of being a killer to live forever.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I never did like those gory horror movies. Give me nightmares........lol
I did however like the movie Resident Evil that was made after a video game

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I'm a Freddie and Jason fan. But I do admit they scare the pants off me! LOL

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I watched some of the Halloween movies in high school, but never did get ariybd to seeing Freddie or Jason movies. I like the suspenseful psychological movies like "Silence of the Lambs", "Sleeping with the Enemy" and the ones which lean more toward sci-fi themes.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

There is a new movie out but I can't think of the name of it.
It has something to do with this family that buys a huge house and things start to go evil! This is going to drive me nuts til I remember it!!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Oh darn, I've seen that movie too Mollybee, but I can't remember the name of it either.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Oooooooo, no scary ones for me. I watch real life news and that's enough fright for me.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Still hasn't come to me yet! arrrggh I hate when this happens!
Be my luck it'll come to me in the middle of the night, and I'll have to get up and come post it LOL

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

We rented Final Destination last night then got Final Destination 2 off pay tv. Cool flicks! A bit gory, but fun none the less. I love the psychological thrillers more than the gory ones too. Did you all ever see The Game??

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Haven't seen any of those Badseed. Sounds like I need to though :)
The Ring as a fairly good one too I thought.
And Signs with my honey Mel Gibson!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

The Final Destinations were good. Theme-some people accidentally escape a horrible accident and screw up "death's" plan. "Death" comes back to give them their turn. Creepy!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

oooo yea sounds like a good one. Might just have to check them out next time I go to BlockBuster.
Thanks

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hey, they have a special right now, 3 movies for $10. Or you can just get one for $3.20. LMBO Hubby didn't fall for it. giggle

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

LOL naa wouldn't fall for that one eaither, although I'm sure ALOT of folks rushing in there will fall for it!

(Zone 4b)

I am a total movie buff and was about to start a movie thread when I saw this... If you like horror, you should see 28 Days later. It might be in some theaters still. This was the best movie of the summer and a real thinking mans movie. It reminded me alot of The Omega Man with charlton Heston.
See 28 DAYS LATER!!!! You wont be disapointed!!!

I haven't been able to watch Jason since my son was shot. The boy that shot him was obsessed with Jason. Had pictures of him drawn on everything he owned. Had a big mental problem. I know everyone that likes Jason movies isn't that way.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh Jim! I am so sorry. I did not know anything about that. I know a lot of kids with problems sort of pick some odd character, group or something to identify with, but honestly I don't think their 'idols' have anything to do with their behavior. I think 'weak' people just pick people that have more guts than they do, or more self esteem or more money, etc. It is a very tragic way for your family to have to think of Jason. Having met some of your family and you, I am sure you are pulling through it even with the pain and bad memories.

Thanks Chell, You must have misssed my posting before. He was shot 9 times at the school parking lot. It evidently wasn't his time to go. He did suffer a lot of damage, particular to his pancrease. He is opposite of a diabetic and suffers from that. He leads a well rounded life otherwise. His wife and son was at the roundup with us last year.
