How do I add an alternate/additional "common name" in PDB?

Only editors can edit the name fields of an entry. If you know of an additional common name, use the "report an error" link while you're viewing the image, and tell us of the other name(s) you're aware of.

Important note: the synonym fields are NOT for common names. They are intended for additional botanical synonyms, but occasionally we come across some rather strange interpretations of their purpose.

If you find anything amiss, the "report an error" link is your best bet to let the editors know that an entry needs our attention.
