Picture upload problem

For some reason and this just started a little while ago that I noticed........when trying to upload a photo, my browser wants to download a .php file and it won't upload anything, what's going on with that? Anyone else have this or did my pc just freak out on me?

This never happened before and just started an hour maybe ago, not sure exactly when as I haven't tried to upload anything today

You have made some changes to your browser. Have you changed to a new browser lately? Or perhaps you've been playing with the settings? When's the last reboot you performed?

not made any changes and I do see that it uploaded but didn't give me anything. I'll try to reboot as I've been working with allot of graphics today. I'll let you know :)

it posts the picture just fine but I get the same message and the page stays so I don't know that it uploaded until I hit refresh

this makes no sense :(

this is what I get. DG won't even load to the next page that it's supposed to when you click send after inserting picture. It just sits there. This is greek to me but maybe you can make sense of it

seems to be netscape as it works fine with IE but I didn't make any changes at all to the settings. Gonna try to re-install it and see what happens

I got that same kind of error yesterday, Dave. I hit back, and my post was there with just the SUBMIT button and no photo showing. I hit submit, and when I went back to the thread, my picture was there. I did a screen capture of the error yesterday, but got sidetracked and never did paste it into Irfanview to save it for you!

Flowox gave me the error message and thanks to that, I was able to fix the problem. Try again now and let me know if it still does it. Thanks for the good report, Flowox!

Bad news - just happened again, to me. I was at http://davesgarden.com/t/394469/ posting a picture to the thread. I got this:

GW: I just tried posting several times and it worked every single time. Would you go here http://davesgarden.com/t/394912/ and try posting a picture? Let me know exactly what steps you took. Also, what kind of picture is it (jpg?). Are you clicking Preview first, or just doing a direct "Send"?

I was able to hit back and browse to my image again, then hit send again. It was a jpg. I believe I was doing a direct send to begin with. I'll go to your link and try again.

I got the error again in the test forum.
1. I browsed to my photo and embedded its path in the field
2. I hit Preview
3. I got the error

(by the way, in posting this, I hit SEND instead of preview - no error)

Tried uploading the same photo on the test forum, only hitting Send directly. Got this:

It's happening again - I'm trying to post a JPG to this thread: http://davesgarden.com/t/395102/

The error is this, regardless of whether I hit Preview first or go to Send directly. I even re-did the picture and re-saved it just to be sure it wasn't the photo.

Tried it again after posting this and it worked. Go figure!

I am using Mozilla and can't post pictures I have in Picasso of some day lilies . Do I maybe have to use explorer?

Picassa probably saves them to its own directory, Se_eds. Look when you save a file to see where it is putting them. Then, just use Mozilla and when you click the BROWSE button for your DG post, navigate to where Picassa saves your pictures. Hope that helps. :) If not, post over in the Computer Talk forum and perhaps more help can be found.

For what it's worth, I posted six pictures into three forums a short while back - No problemo.
BTW, .php files are Photo Parade files (In case anyone was wondering).
